These oils have become the specified oil for many eco-friendly cars, including hybrids.
By reducing resistance inside of the engine, they improve fuel consumption and provide sharper acceleration.
The SP standard not only offers better fuel efficiency than the previous SN and SN PLUS standards but also has the added benefits of preventing LSPI (low-speed pre-ignition in downsizing turbo engines) and suppressing timing chain wear.
