Development of a CPU Cooling Device Using Magnetic Fluid
In collaboration with Ichinen Chemicals Co., Ltd. and Doshisha University, we developed a "self-contained, localized cooling device" that eliminates the need for existing air-cooling fans.
This device enables electronic equipment to be more energy-efficient and have a simpler structure. The device can provide localized cooling for heat-generating elements such as a computer's central processing unit (CPU) using a self-contained magnetic fluid.
We began development in 2017, and with our company acting as a coordinator and under the guidance of Professor Yamaguchi of Doshisha University, the development was carried out at the university. We will continue to manufacture and supply the optimal magnetic fluid using Sakura Seiyusho Co., Ltd.'s insulating oil.
